Sono  nato a Firenze il 30 luglio 1993. Diplomato in Geometra nel 2012-2013 mi sono iscritto alla facoltà di Enologia presso l’università di Firenze. Dopo due anni ho capito che non era la mia strada e sono tornato a seguire la mia passione. Il design. Mi sono iscritto alla LABA nel 2015-2016, dove fin da subito ho capito di essere nel posto giusto per approfondire quelle che erano le mie conoscenze e imparare come rapportarmi con il design, sia a sfondo culturale che lavorativo. Adesso che mi sono laureato, mi sento soddisfatto di ogni mio progetto, dato che ognuno di essi mi ha portato a conoscere cose nuove, e sono quindi determinato ad affrontare un corso di specializzazione o un’esperienza lavorativa.

“Archetipo ha presentato la forma e la valenza estetica voluta, mostrando un aspetto primitivo, quasi osseo, che richiama la natura in ogni sua linea e fa dell’organicità la sua peculiarità principale; un design che richiama i tratti facciali apparendo come un prolungamento della fisionomia. Allo stesso tempo lascia trasparire un’evidente contemporaneità, un’idea quasi futuristica sia nell’aspetto che nella funzione, presentandosi come un oggetto mistico che deriva da un mondo sconosciuto. Questo è il motivo per cui a primo impatto genera nel fruitore una sensazione di curiosità che porta alla volontà di approfondimento e angoscia alimentata dalle sembianze lontane nello spazio e nel tempo. È risultato che il dispositivo ha dato frutto a vari spunti e riflessioni per quanto riguarda l’usabilità e la funzione. Ideato quasi come punto di arrivo di questa ricerca, si è presentato come un ottimo punto di partenza per approfondire e applicare questa ampia ricerca teorica che per confluire in un unico oggetto merita altre sperimentazioni che possano perfezionare il meccanismo funzionale e la meccanica di indossamento, quindi la confortabilità del dispositivo. Il principio è quindi quello di considerare questo risultato come prototipo primo e sfruttarlo per ulteriori schemi di ragionamento.“

I am Antonio Santucci. I was born in Florence on 30 July 1993. I graduated in geometry in 2012-2013 and enrolled in the faculty of enology at the University of Florence. After two years i realized that it wasn’t my way and i returned to follow my passion. Design. i joined LABA in 2015-2016, where i immediately realized that i was in the right place to deepen my knowledge and learn how to relate with design, both with a cultural and working background. Now that i graduated, i feel satisfied with every one of my projects, as each of them has brought me to know new things, and i am determined to undertake a specialization course or a work experience.

Archetipo represents the desired form and aesthetic value, showing a primitive, almost bony aspect, which recalls nature in all its lines and makes the organic aspect its main peculiarity; a design that recalls the facial features appearing as an extension of the physiognomy. At the same time it reveals an evident contemporaneity, an almost futuristic idea both in appearance and function, presenting itself as a mystical object derived from an unknown world. This is the reason why at first impact it generates in the user a feeling of curiosity that leads to the desire for deepening and anguish fueled by the distant appearances in space and time. It’s turned out interesting suggestions and reflections regarding usability and function. Conceived almost as the end point of this search, it has been presented as an excellent starting point to deepen and apply this wide theoretical research that merging into a single object deserves other experiments that can perfect the functional mechanism and the mechanics of wearing, therefore the comfort of the device. The principle is to consider this result as a first prototype and exploit it for further reasoning schemes.
