E’ stata direttrice artistica di Octogon, rivista di architettura e design,  nella redazione di Bucharest e attualmente lavora come graphic designer e designer del gioiello.
A Creative Times Mona Velciov presenta Migration. Spostamenti, cambiamenti e migrazioni causate da motivazioni diverse, legate alla sopravvivenza, a necessità ataviche o tendenze del genere umano. Quali soluzioni adottare? Costruire ponti o barriere? Accogliere o respingere? Approvare o negare? Uccidere o donare nuova vita? Che tipo di essere umano decidiamo di essere? Questa collezione nasce dalla riflessione su questa problematica contemporanea.

Mona Velciov has studied visual art and design at George Enescu National University of Arts in Iasi and jewellery at Assamblage School of Contemporary Jewellery in Bucharest. She worked as art director at Octogon, architecture and design magazine in Bucharest. In the present she is a freelance graphic and jewellery designer. She’s participated at international exhibitions and fairs. At Creative Times Mona Velciov presents the work Migration. Movement, change, displacement, migration, due to all sort of necessities, like basic survival, atavistic needs or tendencies of humankind. What kind of answer there is: building bridges or fences, welcoming or rejecting, affirming or denying? Killing or reviving? What kind of humankinddo we chose to be? The collection is a reflection to this very contemporary problem.
